Capture Someone's Life Story

Life Story volunteers capture a patient’s meaningful moments and can develop a "digital or web-based biography" featuring the patient recalling his or her life stories. We provide all the training for the web-based biography but you can also scrapbook or use whatever talents you have to capture someone's story! The creativity is up to you and can be discussed!

VITAS Volunteer orientation is provided free of charge to help you learn many skills required to be an outstanding life story volunteer. Volunteers will also receive training in "life story/review" interview techniques and to improve their technical and creative skills. Time and dates are ongoing and flexible.
