Early Childhood Volunteer Cultural Kids

Cultural Kids DC is seeking enthusiastic and caring volunteers to support our playgroup for children ages 4 months to 4 years old, as well as assist with administrative and organizational tasks.

This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about early childhood development, education, and working in a fun, multicultural environment, while also gaining experience in nonprofit operations.

Volunteers may support in two main areas:

Program Support (with children):

• Assist with play-based learning activities
• Support music, art, and story time sessions
• Engage with children through play and interaction
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment

Administrative & Development Support:

• Assist with basic administrative and organizational tasks
• Support financial organization and simple budgeting tasks
• Help with writing, editing, and researching grant applications
• Contribute to outreach, communications, and promotion efforts

This role is ideal for students or individuals interested in early childhood education, psychology, nonprofit management, communications, or fundraising.
