    Cosmetologist/Barber Needed for Hospice Patients

We are looking for Cosmetologists or Barbers that would be interested in volunteering to offer mobile hair cuts to people on hospice. We recognize that this is the work you're paid to do, and that it's a significant act of generosity to share your vocation with us. If working with this population calls to you, this is a way you can provide support and comfort to people going through their end-of-life journey.

We get occasional requests for mobile haircutting services, not just anyone is able to provide that, we need trained professionals. A volunteer cosmetologist/barber with TRU knows they are making a real difference in the lives of our hospice patients.

As a volunteer you choose which patient assignments you accept. We see patients all over the Boulder and Denver Metro area. A cosmetologist/barber volunteer commits to seeing their hospice patients just one time and you can also pick up additional companionship types of assignments if you'd like to spend some time with people.

Our requirements include an active cosmetology license and onboarding as a hospice volunteer.

TRU Community Care, formerly Hospice Care of Boulder and Broomfield Counties, has been serving our community since 1976. We are a nonprofit organizations which works to ensure that everyone in our community can live with advanced illness as comfortably, confidently, and fully as possible.
