Share Moments of Comfort

Not all patients have someone to visit with and comfort them during a hospital stay. Together we can change that. As a Compassionate Companion Volunteer, you can bring comfort to someone during a very trying time in their life.

Without the support of volunteers like you, patients can experience low morale, increased anxiety, and a negatively impacted healing process. Be the difference! Together, we can ensure that no one goes a day without someone by their bedside.

Availability: Monday - Sunday with 4-hour shifts between 8:30am and 8:00pm. There are many options to suit any schedule!

Qualifications: You must be personable, have great customer service skills, patient, observant, and engaging. Additional training is required and provided by the Supportive Care Services staff. This volunteer position may require you to sit for extended periods of time.
