The Academic Competitions Team is finalizing plans for the upcoming 2026 Academic Decathlon Speech & Interview competition.
This competition will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Whitney Young High School located at 211 S. Laflin Street, Chicago, IL. To ensure that we have an equitable and successful competition we need the support of volunteers. The Speech & Interview competition is a half-day event and we are in need of approximately 80 volunteers from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Attached you will find the Academic Decathlon volunteer flyer as well as a document outlining to roles and responsibility.
