Project Leaders are expected to put in a minimum of 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 24 hours.
SUMMARY:
The HR Engagement & Development Team at Save the Water™ is currently looking for a new Project Leader! Not only will your volunteering effort contribute to important water research, but you will also be able to advance your professional skills in the fields of HR, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee motivation. The Project Leader will ensure volunteering at Save The Water™ remains a fun and rewarding experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage on average 2-3 volunteers within the Engagement & Development team
- Plan and conduct bi-weekly engagement & development team meetings, including sending agenda, taking meeting minutes, and follow up
- Oversee all E&D Projects including:-
- Volunteer Onboarding (most important and high-priority project)
- Volunteer of the Quarter program, Monthly Recognition Programs
- Analysis and Reports
- Birthday and Anniversary program, Anniversary Interviews(Other Volunteer Communication Programs)
- Monthly Newsletter
- Update the Communication Calendar and ensure all team members are adhering to the timeline and updating the same
- Any other project as assigned
- Develop training modules for new and existing volunteers
- Ensuring tracking and team documents are being filled out properly and regularly including Timesheets.
- Provide a monthly report of your team’s progress to the Director - HR/Asso. Director - HR.
- Attend monthly E&D Progress Report meetings with the Director - HR/Asso. Director - HR.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree completed in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years HR experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative, self-motivated thinker.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and develop business acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Apps.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public.
- Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department
