Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) - Here is an opportunity to help low-income individuals and families get ahead this tax season by saving money on the high cost of tax preparation. You will meet new people and improve your skills -- all in just four hours a week. If you've ever wondered how to make a difference and help people in the community, then becoming a tax volunteer may be just right for you. If tax preparation isn't for you, then we have need for Intake coordinators.

Weekday and weekend hours are available. A four-hour commitment once a week during the tax season is ideal.

Free training workshops will be held prior to the start of the tax season and independent online study is available all year. The workshops include a program overview (who, why, and how) and practice using IRS-approved tax preparation software, as well as helpful resource materials.
