Veteran Volunteer in Chippewa Falls

Say thank you to another veteran as they near the end of their life. Become a We Honor Veterans Support Volunteer with Lily Hospice.

As a volunteer, you will represent Lily Hospice and the Veterans Administration in acknowledging the military service and sacrifices made by Veterans who are approaching end-of-life.

You may also serve as a companion, visiting with veterans who are enrolled in hospice; assist with putting together memorial services; and engage with Veterans in other ways as part of our Veteran Support Program.

The ideal candidate is a US Military Veteran or someone who is currently enlisted in the US Military or Reserves. You will need to go through a background check, about four hours of online training, and another 2-3 hours of in-person person training.
