Videographer - A Cappella Festival

The Boston Sings [BOSS] team is looking for Videographer volunteers to capture video over the duration of the weekend festival, taking place April 10-12 in Somerville, MA. BOSS is put on by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA).

Responsibilities include:

• Review video requirements with BOSS Executive Producer ahead of festival weekend
• Commit to taking video recordings at specific shifts of the weekend:
  • Friday evening: Scholastic Competition (Somerville Theater)
  • Saturday daytime: Workshops & Masterclasses (Tufts University)
  • Saturday evening: Pro Concert (Somerville Theater)
  • Sunday daytime: Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) Ceremony (Tufts University)
• Shoot a variety of horizontal and vertical content during the festival as committed, following video requirements
• Upload & organize usable shots to a shared drive within one week after festival is complete

Videographers are expected to provide their own equipment, transportation, room and board, etc. Food will be available for staff & volunteers throughout the weekend.

Please let us know if you are available for the whole weekend or only some of the time. Our top priorities are the Friday and Saturday evening shows (bolded above), and we can be flexible on the other events.
