The 10th Annual Elk Grove Toy Drive Celebration is Sunday, December 6, 2026, 3:30–7:30 PM at District 56, Elk Grove. Free family celebration: Santa photos, dinner, crafts, kids games, entertainment — and unwrapped toys for children served by local charities. Co-hosted by Community Partners Advocate of Little Saigon Sacramento (cPALSs) and Norcal Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce (NVCC). Event hub: https://elkgrovetoydrive.com
We're seeking volunteer Directors — one owner per celebration lane. You don't have to do every task yourself; you own the plan, coordinate vendors and volunteers, and report status to the event chairs. Fourteen director roles are open. Open and filled roles: https://elkgrovetoydrive.com/team/
GUEST EXPERIENCE
Entertainment — run-of-show, performer booking, stage cues
Santa Photo — Santa talent, photographer liaison, photo line flow
Crafts — crafts tables, supplies, make-and-take staffing
Kids Games — game stations, prizes, volunteer staffing
Food & Dinner — dinner service, food sponsors, serving flow
Decor — Christmas décor plan, install/strike
Raffle — raffle inventory, ticket flow, prize display
TOYS & PARTNERS
Toys & Charities — collection goals, intake standards, charity drop-off
Registration — guest registration platform, check-in, capacity
Volunteers — recruitment, shifts, waivers, appreciation
OUTREACH & PRODUCTION
Sponsorship — corporate pipeline, Fund the Fete asks, deliverables
Marketing & Communications — email, Instagram, website, organic promo
Media — photo/video vendors, highlight reel, press kit
Production & Logistics — load-in/out, floor plan, vendor arrivals
ALREADY COVERED: Event chairs (Vivian · Mamie · cPALSs) — season decision authority. All lane directors open for 2026 recruitment.
GOOD FIT IF YOU
Can commit planning time now through December 2026 and event day
Communicate clearly and like bounded ownership with chair backup
Have event or committee experience (helpful, not required)
