Vice President

WarriorConnect is based out of Northern California but has several volunteers (mostly remote) who help maintain various aspects of the organization including finance, regulatory, media, and advocacy. Through our Instagram, we help connect warriors from all around the world, raise money for care packages, and spread awareness about various health conditions.

The vice president would work closely with the president to ensure that all different branches of the organization are running smoothly. They would help fill in any role when necessary. Tasks include:

• preparing for (in collaboration with the president) and attending the executive weekly team weekly on Thursdays at 8:30 PM PST
• take meeting notes during weekly Thursday meeting
• manage workflow for graphic designers, content creators and social media specialists
• assign tasks to content creators and graphic designers
• send occasional newsletter emails to volunteers and donors
• help respond to questions from potential donors, volunteers and care package recipients
• facilitate 1:1s with new volunteers
• aid president with pertinent tasks/projects as needed

As vice president, you will be communicating with several different people. Therefore, effective/compassionate communication and active listening skills are crucial. You must be able to manage projects on your own and be a self-starter, not one who relies on direction. Prior volunteer or work experience is preferred.

We anticipate this position requiring 3-4 hours a week with at least a 1-year minimum commitment required.
