Medical Scribe - LVIM

As a volunteer medical scribe you help physicians provide more effective and efficient care to the working uninsured. You will assist physicians by documenting findings from patient exams and assessments. This a great way to grow your resume, give back to the community and make a difference.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism, tact, and empathy.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Prior experience as a medical scribe using an EHR system or advanced computer skills

Times: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month. 8 am - Noon.

• If you are 55+ years of age you may qualify for additional benefits from RSVP Polk.

• 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month: 08:00 to 12:00 EST
