We're starting with a small, former patch of blackberries at Lord Hill to start building a healthy plant community! Join Healthy Forest Project staff and other volunteers to clear blackberries off the Steamshovel Trail at Lord Hill. Blackberry bushes have created large, dense thickets that displace the native forest plants and the animals that rely on them. Clearing blackberry and other weeds is the first step to creating a healthier forest for all to enjoy at Lord Hill. You can also take a look at the progress of the meadow seeding project started in November 2024.
