Video Producer & Web Designer — Lady Liberty Sings ( This role can be filled by one versatile creator or split between two people)

About the Project:

Lady Liberty Sings is a national, online protest , highlighting threats to due process through song. We are gathering 1,000 + original musical compositions – both professional and amateur from across the U.S.—inspired by the welcoming words inscribed on the Statue of Liberty. This project serves as a digital protest, archive and a fundraiser for immigrant legal defense—with a goal of $100,000. Check us out here:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Solo or Split role):

1)Video Production:

• Sizzle reel Assembly:

Edit high-impact 30-60 second promotional sizzle reels (1 or 2) using artist’s music video submission clips from Google Drive, and following a conceptual framework and script provided by our Creative Director.

2) Website Design/Youtube:

• Wix Website Maintenance:

Insert new graphic banners, apply brand colors, update text copy, and then make minor changes on an as needed basis.

• • YouTube set up & Video Pipeline: Set up and manage the project’s YouTube channel, upload artist submission videos (~40 initial submissions, growing over time), embed the video gallery on Wix so all songs play seamlessly directly on our website.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong creative eye, organizational skills and a collaborative spirit. Plus, experience with short-form video editing and/or Wix /YouTube management as follows:

For Sizzle Reel Assembly:

• Experience with short-form video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Descript, Premiere, or Final Cut)

For Wix website/You tube.

• Comfortable updating layouts, text, and images in Wix.
• Familiarity with YouTube channel management and video embedding.

Time Commitment: Approximately 4–5 hours per week during the first 4-6 weeks (for cutting the sizzle reel, initial setup of You tube Channel, uploading the first 40 videos, and website edits), dropping to ~1 hour per month for ongoing maintenance.

Location: Must be resident in the U.S. NYC area preferred for occasional in-person collaboration on sizzle reels. Website/YouTube efforts can be entirely remote.
