Volunteer as a Garden Tour Guide! Orientation Scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026

Are you passionate about nature and eager to share your enthusiasm with others? Cape Fear Botanical Garden is looking for volunteer tour guide leaders to give tours of our beautiful garden!

Why Volunteer as a Tour Guide Leader?

Connect the public with nature and share the fascinating features of our Garden.

Create memorable experiences for children, families, and adults.

No prior experience is necessary!

Requirements:

Ability to walk for about an hour over uneven surfaces.

Availability on either weekday mornings or weekends.

Completion of an orientation/training session

A background check before you lead your first tour.

Age 18+

Additional Information:

We are in need of Volunteer Garden Tour Guides and have scheduled an orientation/training for Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please note other training/orientation can be scheduled as needed.
