Cashier

Did you know that you can raise money to help low-income families achieve their dreams of homeownership, even if you don’t have money to spare? That's right, help us raise money by becoming a cashier! After every shift you're welcome to see how much money you raised!

Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available)

Monday-Friday: 10 am-2 pm & 2 pm-6 pm

Saturday: 9 am-1 pm & 1:00 to 3:00 & 3:00 to 5:00

Cashier Roles & Responsibilities

* Ring up sales

* Assist with answering phone calls, customer & donor questions as needed

* Fill out necessary paperwork for sold tags

* Assist with pricing and sorting smaller items

* Ability to explain ReStore policies and procedures

Desired Skills & Experience

* Age 18+

* Cheerful and upbeat customer service skills

* Register experience preferred, but not required

Training & Resources provided

* 1 hour orientation

* 2-4 hour training with ReStore staff member or experienced volunteer

* To become comfortable with register operations, it is suggested to volunteering more than once a month

* Staff support is always available to assist with questions
