Descripción
LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a hands-on volunteer to assist with the setup and build-out of our new office and warehouse space in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area.
This is a project-based volunteer opportunity ideal for students or individuals interested in construction, carpentry, facilities maintenance, interior build-out, skilled trades, or hands-on project work.
Projects may include assembling and/or building desks and shelving, furniture assembly, installing non-structural wall décor or wall panels, organizing office and warehouse spaces, painting and finishing, measuring and planning workspace layouts, mounting approved fixtures, assisting with furniture placement, and other light office build-out projects.
We are especially interested in students seeking hands-on experience, service-learning hours, internship/work-based learning hours, or portfolio-building opportunities.
LoopRoots can provide documentation of completed volunteer hours, project descriptions, supervisor verification, performance evaluations when required by the school, reference letters for successful participants, and opportunities to document completed work for a professional portfolio.
Students seeking academic credit, service-learning credit, internship credit, or other training credit must receive approval through their school or training program. LoopRoots Foundation is willing to coordinate with faculty, career services, service-learning offices, or work-based learning coordinators to meet applicable program requirements.
This opportunity begins immediately and will primarily support our new office/warehouse setup.
