NAMI San Mateo County is looking for young adult volunteer facilitators for our Uplift Teen Group!
NAMI SMC’s Uplift Teen Group is a 6-week support group for youth ages 11–18 that helps participants develop healthier thinking patterns. We are seeking young adult peer facilitators who can use their lived experience to create a safe, supportive space for teens to grow and connect.
We are looking for young adults that:
- Are between 18-28 years old
- Have lived experience with mental health struggles
- Have flexible availability Monday - Friday anytime between 8 am - 3 pm (Role is 2-5 hours/week)
- Have reliable transportation to schools in San Mateo County
- Can participate in a 4-5 hour training
