Help Hospice Patients Leave their Legacy 

AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to assist with Legacy Projects that help patients preserve their memories, share their stories, and create meaningful keepsakes for their loved ones.

Legacy Projects provide patients with an opportunity to reflect on their lives, celebrate special memories, and leave behind treasured gifts for future generations. These projects often become cherished family heirlooms and a source of comfort for loved ones.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Sewing memory bears from a patient's cherished clothing
• Creating memory books and scrapbook pages
• Assisting with hand-mold keepsake kits
• Recording or transcribing life stories and personal memories
• Helping patients compile favorite family recipes
• Creating fingerprint artwork and keepsakes
• Preparing recordable storybooks for children and grandchildren
• Writing letters or cards for future milestones and special occasions
• Assisting with other personalized legacy projects

Some projects can be completed during visits with patients, while others can be worked on from home or in the office, making this a flexible volunteer opportunity for individuals with a variety of schedules and talents.
