Help Your Neighbors in Need – Volunteer in Our Food Pantry!

Join us at Rowan Helping Ministries and make a real difference in the lives of your neighbors facing hunger! Our food pantry serves 30–80 visitors every day, providing essential groceries and a welcoming environment for those in need. Each year, we provide nearly 1 million pounds of food to around 5,000 food-insecure households.

What Our Volunteers Do:

• • Welcome, check in, and interview clients seeking assistance
  • Help complete applications and paperwork
  • Work alongside staff to connect clients with the help they need
  • Support pantry operations, including:
    • Assisting clients with food selection and checkout
    • Assembling online or pre-orders
    • Stocking and organizing pantry items
    • Loading food into client vehicles

No experience? No problem! We provide training to all volunteers so you can jump right in and make an impact.

Recurring Volunteers Welcome:

If you or your group can commit to weekly or monthly shifts, this is a great opportunity for a group to “adopt” one or more shifts and alternate between group members to make sure the shift is always covered!
