Do you love connecting with kids, supporting families, and bringing positive energy into a community space? Join the Youth & Family Services team at Neighborhood House and help create safe, fun, and empowering experiences for local youth and families!
What You’ll Do
As a volunteer, you might:
- Help with after-school activities, games, and creative projects
- Support homework time and learning activities
- Welcome families and help create a warm, inclusive environment
- Assist staff during family events, workshops, and celebrations
- Be a positive role model, cheerleader, and friendly face
- Occasionally help organize supplies, snacks, or activity spaces
No two days are exactly the same — expect laughter, movement, creativity, and meaningful connections.
What Makes a Great Volunteer
You don’t need to be an expert — just someone who:
- Enjoys working with youth and families
- Brings patience, kindness, and a sense of fun
- Is dependable and ready to jump in where needed
