Support Elderly Patients with Companionship

AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals with patience and kindness to provide companionship and company to elderly patients at the end of their life who may be isolated or lonely.

Volunteers provide comfort through companionship; talking, listening, playing music from your phone, reading, and most of all, creating a connection to help patients feel less alone.

You Are:

• Compassionate
• Patient active listener
• Care about the experience and wellbeing of elderly and terminal patients

We Provide:

• Comprehensive Hospice volunteer training that is flexible to meet your schedule
• Background Check & Health Screening

Commitment:

• 1 patient assignment (more allowed over time per vol preference)
• Visit 2-4 times a month
• Visits average 60min each
