Through engaging educational workshops, community initiatives, and our chapter program, we empower youth and communities to take action in protecting our planet. ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Social Media Team Leads are responsible for managing the Social Media Team, which is responsible for creating content on our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and newsletter). They will help members workshop their posts and publish all finished posts. They also develop promotional materials, flyers, and visual aids for The Green Cause.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and publish social media content
• Review and revise member’s posts
• Facilitate team meetings twice a month
• Onboard new social media team members
• Create a social media team schedule to ensure consistent posts on our platforms
• Create promotional materials and visual aids
• Outreach and collaborate with other environmental content creators or organizations
• Ensure content aligns with The Green Cause branding and mission

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have social media experience (proficient use of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Demonstrated creativity and ingenuity
• Artistic skills (graphic design, digital art, physical art skills, etc.)
• Proficient in Canva or Adobe

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Animation or video editing experience
