Join Spectrum as we kick off the new school year with our Back to School Bash, a high-energy celebration filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit for individuals with autism and their families. This lively event is designed to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where families can connect, celebrate, and start the school year on a positive note.
Volunteers play a key role in bringing this event to life and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience for all attendees. Volunteer support may include assisting with event setup, making and serving snow cones, guiding craft projects, overseeing activity stations such as the LEGO competition and bounce house, assisting the GA Bubble Man, blowing bubbles throughout the event space, serving snacks, directing parking, greeting families as they arrive, and helping with event cleanup.
This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who enjoy hands-on activities, working with families, and supporting inclusive community events. No prior experience is required—Spectrum staff and activity leads will provide on-site guidance and support.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and be prepared to help in a fast-paced, fun environment that brings joy to families and children alike.
