Volunteer Opportunity - Serving Hot Meals Food Service - The Salvation Army

If you’re looking for a simple and meaningful way to volunteer for just over an hour a day, serving hot meals at our local community centers may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Volunteer Shifts:

⏰ Approximately 1 hour

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM or
• 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• (Shift times vary by location)
• Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to meet the drivers and help with setup.

What Volunteers Will Do:

• Serve hot meals to community members
• Complete quick and easy demographic tracking while meals are distributed

Meals are served at:

• Patterson Park Community Center
• Kenmore Community Center
• Summit Lake Community Center
• Salvation Army Gymnasium on Maple Street

If you’re unable to commit to a regular schedule, we also welcome volunteers who can serve as substitutes when needed.
