Hospice Volunteer- Administrative-Direct Care-Socialization-Companionship-Pet Therapy

Located in Huron, Tuscola, and Sanilac counties of Michigan, Heartland Hospice is looking for selfless, caring volunteers to provide joy to our patients during a crucial time in their lives.

Direct Care Volunteers can sit & chat with patients, providing companionship and socialization they don't typically get in this stage of life. Volunteers can also assist with household chores, errands, & outdoor/yard work! There are so many options to be helpful & meaningful as a direct care volunteer! (18 years & up)

Administrative Volunteers can assist in the office with paperwork, organizing, filing, & making phone calls to check in on patients. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A HIGHSCHOOLER WHO NEEDS NHS/VOLUNTEER/COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS. This position is 16years & older!

Volunteers are accommodated with their schedules, needs, comfortability, & where they would like to help (Specific town or areas, facilities, homes, etc)
