    SEVA Travelers spend 4 -5 days with the organization (mornings on-site, afternoons exploring--enough time to collect information for the project). They continue the engagement virtually, meeting via Zoom for 1-3 months to complete the deliverable

    By sharing our expertise with NGOs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), SEVA Travelers’ pro bono consultants, coaches and trainers are empowering the next generation of social entrepreneurs with the skills they need to succeed.

    Pro-bono Consulting Services

    S.E.V.A. Travelers offers great nonprofits in Asia, Latin America, and Africa free consulting services to achieve greater scale and impact. This pro bono support includes:

    • Grant proposal writing (and training staff how to write winning grant proposals)
    • Foundation and corporate funding prospect research
    • Fundraising strategy development
    • Website design and development
    • Social media, marketing, and communications support
    • Fundraising Databases/software
    • Designing Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation systems

    SEVA Travelers has partnered with GlobalGiving to identify great nonprofits in low- and middle-income countries. Together we have reached out to almost a thousand NGOs in the Global South about our suite of pro bono consulting services and the possibility of hosting a SEVA Traveler. Thanks to this exciting partnership, S.E.V.A. Travelers offers over 180 host sites to choose from in about 30 low- and middle-income countries in Asia, Latin America and Africa (for a complete list of available projects organized by region and country please see https://www.sevatravelers.org/currentprojects)

    ¿Cómo llegar?

    SEVA Travelers offers three host organizations to choose from in Bolivia, with placements located across the country in the Amazon region and the city of Cochabamba. These sites provide unique opportunities for volunteers to contribute to sustainable development, environmental conservation, healthcare access, and community education. Volunteers will work alongside local teams to strengthen nonprofit operations, support social enterprises, and help organizations achieve long-term impact while experiencing Bolivia’s rich culture and natural beauty.

    These vetted and verified NGOs include:

    Sustainable Bolivia – Riberalta, Bolivian Amazon

    A U.S.-based nonprofit protecting over 50,000 acres of rainforest through the Aquicuana Reserve. Volunteers support environmental conservation, community education, and nonprofit growth. Key projects include rebuilding the organization’s website, developing board governance systems, and strengthening fundraising strategies.

    Smiles Forever Foundation – Cochabamba

    A long-standing dental nonprofit providing free, high-quality dental care to underserved communities, especially children. Volunteers assist in organizational restructuring, sustainability planning, and fundraising development to ensure continued access to affordable oral health care.

    Asociación Tukuy Pacha – Cochabamba

    A locally based organization focused on social inclusion, community development, and cultural preservation. Volunteers may support capacity building, program development, and strategic communications to expand the organization’s reach and impact.
