Volunteer Cook - Rise Recipe of the Month

Support Rise Pantry by helping prepare our Recipe of the Month. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced cook who enjoys preparing meals that can inspire and support the families we serve.

Volunteers will prepare 2 to 3 dishes using recipes and ingredients provided by Rise, then deliver the prepared dishes to Rise Pantry before 9:00 AM.

This opportunity takes place one day every other month, and dates will be shared a few months in advance.

Volunteer Tasks:

• Prepare 2 to 3 dishes using recipes provided by Rise
• Use ingredients supplied by Rise
• Work in a commercial kitchen setting
• Deliver completed dishes to Rise Pantry before 9:00 AM

Requirements:

• Food handler certification required
• Cooking experience required
• Comfortable working independently in a kitchen setting
• Reliable transportation for delivery to the pantry

Schedule:

One day every other month

6:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Dates will be shared several months in advance

Rise will provide all recipes and ingredients.
