    Descripción

    A Grant Researcher/Writer is responsible for identifying, researching, and securing funding opportunities for an organization. This role involves researching potential grants, drafting compelling proposals, managing submission processes, and tracking outcomes to support the organization’s mission and financial sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies, corporations, foundations, and private sources that align with the organization’s mission and programs .
    • Analyze grant requirements, deadlines, funding amounts, and eligibility criteria; maintain an organized matrix or database of opportunities.
    • Develop and write clear, persuasive, and well-documented grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents tailored to each funder.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (program, finance, and leadership teams) to gather required information, budgets, and data for proposals.
    • Submit complete and timely grant applications and track the progress and outcomes of submissions .
    • Maintain positive relationships and frequent communication with prospective and current funders; serve as a liaison during the proposal period .
    • Monitor and report on grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance with funding guidelines.
    • Participate in relevant grant training, workshops, and pre-bid conferences to stay current with best practices and evolving grant landscapes.
    • Assist with post-award documentation, reporting, and evaluation of grant-funded programs as needed.
