Children Across America is seeking dependable and enthusiastic volunteers for our Saturday STREAM Club in Milford, Massachusetts.
The program serves children ages 4–11 through hands-on activities in science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math. Volunteers help children complete simple projects, stay engaged, and enjoy a positive learning environment.
No teaching or STREAM experience is required. Instructions will be provided for each activity, and experienced staff members will be present throughout the program to offer support.
High school and college students are encouraged to apply, and we are also seeking adult volunteers.
Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Location: Milford, Massachusetts
Age Group: Children ages 4–11
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assist children with hands-on activities and projects
- Help prepare and organize classroom materials
- Encourage children and provide positive support
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment
- Work alongside staff and other volunteers
Qualifications
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with children
- Dependable and able to follow staff instructions
- No prior teaching experience required
- High school students, college students, and adults are welcome to apply
