Sponsorship Director

Veterans Support Services (VSS) is a community-based nonprofit and drop-in center that helps veterans and their families navigate benefits, access resources, build connections, and improve quality of life.

VSS serves as a “front-door” to services — providing guidance, community engagement, and supportive programming including financial education, wellness workshops, peer connection, and outreach events.

We are growing rapidly and seeking a motivated leader to help build sustainable community funding partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sponsorship strategy for VSS programs and events
• Identify and approach potential corporate partners
• Build relationships with local businesses and community leaders
• Create sponsorship packages and partnership opportunities
• Coordinate sponsorship outreach campaigns (email, in-person, networking)
• Track sponsorship commitments and follow-ups
• Represent VSS at networking and community events
• Collaborate with marketing and event teams
• Help build long-term sustainable funding relationships
