Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra – Usher Opportunities

Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra is looking for ushers for our upcoming holiday concerts!

Concert Dates & Locations

• Friday, December 13 – Handel’s Messiah
  • Time: 7:30 PM (call time 6:15 PM)
  • Location: Old First Reformed Church, Park Slope
• Saturday, December 14 – Handel’s Messiah
  • Time: 5:00 PM (call time 3:45 PM)
  • Location: St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Brooklyn Heights
• Sunday, December 21 – A Very Merry Brooklyn (holiday concert with New York Choral Society)
  • Time: 5:00 PM (call time 3:45 PM)
  • Location: St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Brooklyn Heights

Volunteer Role: Usher

Responsibilities may include:

• Greeting audience members and offering basic information about the concert
• Scanning or checking tickets at the door
• Handing out programs
• Helping guests find their seats
• Assisting with basic crowd flow before and after the concert

Ideal Volunteers

• Punctual and friendly
• Comfortable interacting with the public
