Patient Support

Volunteers provide companionship to the patient and respite for the caregiver. Our volunteers typically give an hour a week, but all volunteers have the opportunity to serve as little or as much as they can. Example of ways to volunteer include:

* Friendly companion visits

* Writing Letters

* Reading to patients

* Running errands

* Meal preparation

* Hair care

* Playing music (instrument or recorded)

* Making tuck in calls

* Bereavement support

* Office tasks

* Pet therapy

* Light housekeeping

* Caregiver relief
