    About Us

    QRFup is dedicated to providing crisis intervention, mental health support, and suicide prevention resources for veterans and first responders. We work to ensure that those who have served our communities receive the critical care and support they need during times of crisis.

    Position Overview

    The National Medical Operations Director Volunteer plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the medical and mental health aspects of our crisis intervention services across the United States. This volunteer leader will ensure our programs align with best practices in emergency response, suicide prevention, and trauma-informed care for veterans and first responders. They will be responsible for recruiting mental health provider leads for each region across the United States, who will be responsible for recruiting mental health providers within their respective states to provide crisis intervention support to Veterans and First Responders who call us.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide medical and clinical guidance for crisis intervention and suicide prevention programs.
    • Develop and oversee medical protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ethical guidelines.
    • Coordinate with mental health professionals, emergency responders, and partner organizations.
    • Support the recruitment, training, and development of medical and crisis response volunteers.
    • Advise on medical and psychological risk assessments for crisis cases.
    • Assist in the development of educational materials and training for crisis responders.
    • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma care and suicide prevention.

    Qualifications

    • Licensed Physician or Mental Health Provider.
    • Experience in emergency medicine, mental health, trauma care, or crisis intervention.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Passion for serving veterans, first responders, and individuals in crisis.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
