The DuMond Conservancy for Primates and Tropical Forests is a non-profit, mission-driven organization based on Education, Research and Conservation. We provide lifetime care for over 50 Owl Monkeys; most have been retired or rescued from biomedical research laboratories. During the day, we rely on volunteers to provide extra observation, prepare diets, clean their cages, make creative enrichment items and make sure their environment is safe. Volunteering with us offers meaningful, hands-on experience with exotic primates and can be a valuable addition to any animal care background.
The DuMond Conservancy for Primates and Tropical Forests is located on the grounds of Monkey Jungle.
If you’re interested in joining our volunteer team, please contact us at the email provided. Be sure to include the day(s) you are available to volunteer and your reason for wanting to volunteer.
