Seeking Volunteers at Aultman Hospital

For those who want to make a lasting difference in patients’ lives and give back to their community, Aultman Hospital is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as volunteers, filling a wide variety of important and meaningful roles throughout the hospital.

Volunteers are a crucial part of the Aultman team. Volunteers can make a lasting impact in the lives of others while making friends and learning new skills.

At Aultman, volunteers can enjoy many different roles, including delivering items from the comfort cart to patients and families, assisting patients and visitors at the information desk, transporting patients throughout the facility, guiding patients and families with wayfinding and much more. Volunteers also gain access to many perks and benefits, such as free parking in the covered deck and free cafeteria meals (after four hours of volunteering).

We also recruit therapy dogs and their handlers. If your dog is social and can follow basic commands, please look for evaluation dates at www.PetPartners.org. Once you have been registered through PetPartners you can complete a volunteer application for our Happy Tails program. Dogs and handlers visit the hospital, seeing our patients, families and staff.
