GenNow (Generation Now) is a community of next-gen leaders who believe now is the time to give back, show up, and create change...together. We are looking for passionate, community-minded leaders (ages 21–40) to join our volunteer Board and help power the American Cancer Society’s mission to end cancer as we know it — for everyone.

What Board Membership Looks Like

• Be an ambassador for the American Cancer Society and GenNow Seattle
• Commit to an individual fundraising goal (you’re supported every step of the way)
• Choose fundraising methods that fit your style:
  • Selling Fork Cancer tickets
  • Securing sponsorships
  • Procuring silent auction items
  • Online fundraising via a personalized GenNow page
  • Personal donation (cash or check)
• Serve on at least one committee (events, marketing, membership, or revenue)
• Attend monthly board meetings (2nd Wednesday, 6:30–8:30pm PT; 75% attendance)
• Volunteer at at least one ACS event each year
• Commit to a one-year term
