Role Description

The Board Treasurer is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial management and sustainability of Rose Academies-Uganda. The Treasurer will ensure accurate financial records, contribute to financial planning, manage budgets, and support compliance with relevant regulations. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports for board meetings and offering strategic financial guidance to support the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Planning processes
• Proficiency in Finance, Budgeting, and Accounting practices
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented approach
• Familiarity with nonprofit finance management and compliance is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and remotely with diverse teams
• Previous experience in a board or financial advisory role is highly desirable
• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field are required
