United We Age (UWA), a Treasure Coast based nonprofit organization, is seeking volunteers with smiles to bring cheer to community senior citizens. We offer a Friends for Seniors program offering seniors in need, social support by delivering birthday and holiday gifts to residents in long-term care facilities every month in the Vero Beach and Port St Lucie areas. We are seeking volunteers in both the Vero Beach and the Port St Lucie area.

United We Age is a volunteer-driven organization. Friends for Seniors brings a personal touch to seniors by providing them with some outside friendly contact as well as birthday and holiday cards, gifts (e.g., clothing, toiletries, and snacks) and essentials to let them know they are not forgotten and alone. Time is flexible and the commitment is 4 to 8 hours per month.
