Earth Day of Action 2026: Calling All Bay Area Volunteers!

Join our Organized Beach Cleanups and Habitat Restorations

The Pacific Beach Coalition's annual Earth Day of Action is part of a few initiatives in the Bay Area dedicated to inspiring, uniting, educating, and building community to remove litter and restore native landscape along the San Mateo County coast.

Every year, thousands of volunteers of all ages gear up with gloves and buckets to join the hands-on events at organized sites from Daly City, CA to Half Moon Bay, CA and on the peninsula in Foster City, CA.

STEP 1: Register Online

Sign the waiver; one waiver for each person in your group.

STEP 2: Join the cleanup

1. Arrive at your site at 9am on Saturday, April 18th
2. Check in, be safe, help at your site, and have fun!

Step 3: When you're finished, join the EcoFest celebration at Pacifica State Beach (Linda Mar) from 10:30AM to 1:30PM

• Limited parking, so walk, bike or carpool when possible

Remember to:

• WEAR - Proper clothing (i.e., sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hat ,and layered clothing)
• BRING - Reusable gloves, a bucket and water bottle to reduce waste
