Freestore Foodbank Distribution Pantry Volunteer

As a Distribution Center Assistant at the Freestore Foodbank, volunteers will assist the volunteer team with general distribution duties which may include operating warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Other duties may include: Daily upkeep of the Distribution Center facilities and equipment.

Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the volunteer area, particularly the area in which

product is stored, assembled and sorting projects are staged: includes, sweeping, mopping,

dusting, picking up debris, straightening and stacking skids, etc.

Assists in the recycling efforts of the organization by overseeing the cardboard and plastic recycling process and utilize the appropriate equipment.
