Meetings are on the first and third Monday of each month at 8pm via Zoom, and usually last between one to two hours. Finance Committee members may be asked to complete tasks between meetings.

The George Street Co-op — a cooperatively-owned vegetarian grocery store in New Brunswick, NJ — is looking for individuals with experience in finance and/or accounting to help us improve our business practices!
As a member of the Co-op's Finance Committee, you would attend bimonthly meetings and work with other committee members to:
- Advise the Board of Directors on financial matters
- Review and evaluate financial statements
- Prepare the Co-op's annual budget
- Prepare presentations and reports of income, expenditures, and outstanding debts
While we are primarily seeking volunteers with a professional or educational background in the above areas, we are open to individuals with other types of experience.
