Wish Granter Volunteer-Asheville Region

We are seeking people in the Western Region who have a passion for working with children. In this role, you will work with wish kids and their families to determine a child’s wish ideas and capture all the important elements to give them a truly life transforming wish experience. You are also responsible for creating meaningful boosters for the child to accentuate the excitement of the wish!

Requirements for a volunteer role:

1. Must be at least 18 years old
2. Complete Orientation (online)
3. Complete and submit volunteer paperwork
4. Complete a self paid background check (The cost is roughly $28 and is run once every three years)
5. Complete Volunteer Trainings (in-person and online)
6. Plan and deliver one booster per wish (i.e. care package, countdown calendar, send-off gift etc.)
7. Sign up for a minimum of 4 wishes per year
