Volunteer & Support Needs for The WIN Project a Non Profit Organization.

The WIN Project is seeking dedicated volunteers and partners to help us expand our impact and strengthen our housing mission. We need individuals with skills in social media, outreach, research, and corporate engagement to help us grow support for our GoFundMe campaign and housing initiatives.

🔹 Social Media & Outreach

We are looking for someone with strong social media skills to help us tell our story in a compelling way.

• Focus platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn
• Post updates 2–3 times per week (progress photos, short clips, volunteer shout-outs, donation milestones)
• Create storytelling posts that highlight families, volunteers, and impact
• Use effective hashtags (#AffordableHousing, #HesperiaStrong, #RebuildTogether, #TheWINProject)
• Tag and engage with local press, influencers, city officials, and community leaders

🔹 Corporate & Community Partnerships

We need support in connecting with local and national businesses to secure donations and sponsorships.

• Home Depot & Lowe’s: Both have community giving programs that support housing improvements and community impact projects. Outreach will begin with local store managers to request product donations (lumber, paint, appliances).
• Other local partners: churches, Rotary Clubs, neighborhood councils, local trade unions (carpenters, electricians).

🔹 Research & Funding

We also need help identifying and pursuing funding opportunities in San Bernardino County and beyond.

• County programs: Housing & Community Development Department (HOME funds, CDBG, and housing support programs)
• Grant opportunities: NeighborWorks America, Inland Empire Community Foundation, local banks’ CRA programs (Wells Fargo, Chase, BofA)

🔹 Volunteer Roles Needed

• Social Media & Outreach Volunteer – Manage campaigns, engagement, and content creation.
• Grant Research Assistant – Track funding opportunities, deadlines, and applications.
• Corporate Liaison – Build relationships with businesses for donations and sponsorships.
