Since 1995, Idealist has been connecting people and organizations to help build a better world.

25 + years later, we are now one of the most popular resources for the social impact sector, with over 135,000 organizations posting their services, jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, and events. Currently over 1.5 million individuals have created accounts on the site (with hundreds joining every day), and hundreds of thousands opt to receive free email alerts when new listings are posted that match their areas of interest and geographic location. All of these services are also available in Spanish and Portuguese.

Alongside the hundreds of thousands of opportunities that are posted on Idealist, we also provide free online tools for career assessment including a popular Career Blog.

We also host Graduate School Fairs where representatives of graduate degree programs meet with thousands of prospective students. And in our Graduate School Directory you can view hundreds of graduate school profiles; read about specific degrees 'for the public good'; learn about the admissions process, financial aid, and more.  

We also support grassroots action to help people connect to each other all over the globe through our Idealists of the World Facebook group, and other events and resources to take action.
