Neighborhood Housing Services of Birmingham, Inc (NHSB) is a charter member of NeighborWorks America, and a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency. We create opportunities for people to own affordable homes, improve their lives, and strengthen their communities.
NHSB’s core programs include the Home Ownership Center, which offers first-time homebuyer education, individualized pre-purchase financial counseling, and foreclosure prevention services. NHSB also administers the Home Preservation Program, which supports owner-occupants through critical home repair grants and HomeWise workshops designed to help families remain safely housed and preserve assets for future generations.

Position Summary
The Housing Development Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of new construction for a for-sale single-family housing development strengthening neighborhood stability and expanding homeownership opportunities in three adjacent Birmingham neighborhoods experiencing master-planned reinvestment and increased housing demand.
This role manages budgets, schedules, consultants, design teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements for affordable housing developments.
