It's a volunteer-led, non-governmental organization that encourages members to develop leadership skills, engage in community action, and participate in international cooperation. JCI has local chapters in numerous countries, fostering a network of young leaders committed to social and economic development. It has members in about 127 countries, and regional or national organizations in most of them.
