HOPE NC

To create inclusive housing communities where people of all ages and abilities, especially those with developmental disabilities, feel a sense of belonging.

HOPE NC was begun in 2018 by a small group of parents who want to see additional housing options for people with developmental disabilities. Our goal is create options for affordable, inclusive housing for adults with developmental disabilities integrated into the community. We have two inclusive housing communities in Raleigh and Durham and a third starting in Chapel Hill in summer 2026. As an organization, we are working on policy change so that more inclusive housing can happen across the state.
