Innovators for Purpose

Innovators for Purpose (iFp) is a BIPOC-led design and innovation studio based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that empowers young people to shape their futures through design, STEM, AI, and social impact. Through hands-on projects and real-world challenges, iFp helps students develop the skills, confidence, and agency needed to pursue meaningful careers and contribute to their communities.

At the heart of iFp’s work is a belief that talent is everywhere but opportunity is not. iFp builds long-term pathways that move students from curiosity to college and into innovation-driven careers, with many alumni now studying at leading universities and working in fields such as technology, design, and science. By centering youth voice and creativity, iFp ensures that the next generation of innovators reflects the full diversity of the communities technology is meant to serve.
