    Reports to: Executive Director

    About Us

    FMF and AID Global Association is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) and associated AID (autoinflammatory diseases). Our work focuses on:

    • Providing medical assistance to patients in urgent need,
    • Operating a helpline for guidance and emotional support,
    • Producing awareness and educational materials for patients and healthcare professionals, and
    • Offering additional support services to improve quality of life for those affected.

    Role Purpose

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Volunteer Fundraising Officer and Grant Writer to help develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan. You will identify and pursue funding opportunities, write grant applications, and establish relationships with potential donors and partners to support our ongoing programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify potential funding sources (foundations, corporate sponsors, institutional grants, private donors).
    • Prepare and submit grant applications and sponsorship proposals.
    • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors.
    • Develop a fundraising strategy and pipeline, including short- and medium-term goals.
    • Monitor progress and report fundraising activities to the Board.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising and non-profit regulations.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or business development, preferably in the non-profit or health sector.
    • Strong ability to identify funding opportunities and build partnerships.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and German).
    • Strategic thinker with good organizational and networking skills.
    • Motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
    • Familiarity with the rare disease or healthcare field is a plus.
